Premier League giants Tottenham may have to pay Feyenoord up to £6 million compensation fee to make Arne Slot their new head coach.
The London club are determined to hire Slot to take over from the sacked Antonio Conte for next season.
While Spurs are still negotiating with Slot and assessing their other options, The Mail states that talks are at an advanced stage.
Slot does have a release clause that kicks into his contract next summer, but Spurs are hoping if they pay that figure to Feyenoord this summer, they will not stand in Slot's way.
In addition, the Dutchman will bring in coaches Marino Pusic and Sipke Hulsoff with him to the Premier League.
Spurs are in free fall over the past few weeks, dropping down to eighth spot in the league.
