EPL: Three teams confirm Champions League spots

Newcastle United became the third Premier League team to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for next season.

The Magpies were held to a 0-0 draw by Leicester City at St James Park on Monday night.

The result means Eddie Howe’s men now have 70 points after 37 matches.

They will join champions Manchester City and runners-up Arsenal among Europe’s elite.

Manchester United can take the last Champions League spot if they get a point from their last two fixtures.

The Red Devils host Chelsea on Thursday, before taking on Fulham on the last day of the season.
