Man City boss Guardiola: At this stage it's all about mental strength

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits this final stretch of the season is about "mental strength".

City host West Ham tomorrow night.

Guardiola said: “I'm tired but it's normal, the players have one month and one week to fight for and we play the last six or seven years in this situation. We've done it a lot, this not the first time. I'd say it happens a lot of times.

“Everything is here, the mental strength, the best period we can live and we are not tired. We have positive thoughts so we are not tired. Now it's another opportunity. We have to recover and go for it."

On Arsenal potentially returning to the top of the table against Chelsea tonight, he added: “I don't control that. I think about what we have to do against West Ham, what they've done last two seasons is exceptional. I need to review what they've done. The quality is there, and the weapons are there. They're a good team and the team is there. in one game anything can happen."
