Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric has revealed his final decision on his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Croatian midfield maestro said he would want to remain at Real Madrid as his current deal expires at the end of the season.
He is yet to sign a new deal but the club is also reportedly open to keeping him at the club beyond this season.
Modric helped Real Madrid to another trophy at the weekend, clinching the Copa del Rey at the expense of Osasuna.
The Croatian, speaking with journalists after the victory, confirmed that he was keen on staying.
He said, “The idea is to continue at Madrid but… we’ll see what happens. This club is my whole life, Real Madrid is my whole life.”
Modric said he is calm about his current contract situation at the club, adding that whatever happens in the future won’t change anything about his relationship with Real Madrid.
