Per The Athletic on Monday, representatives of 777 Partners and Everton owner Farhad Moshiri held talks recently.
The group has investments in Belgium side Standard Liege, Red Star FC in France and Australian club Melbourne Victory.
They are looking to add Everton to their portfolio, which is of interest to the club as well.
