EPL: He’s not a brilliant player – Dixon slams Arsenal star after 3-3 draw with Saints

Former Arsenal defender, Lee Dixon has blamed Ukrainian left-back, Oleksandr Zinchenko for their disappointing 3-3 with Southampton on Friday evening.

Dixon criticised the Ukrainian and accused him of going ‘to sleep’ for Southampton’s third goal.

Southampton was in the driving seat to victory but midway through the second half, Caleta-Car, who was being marked by Zinchenko scored a clean header to make 3-1 for the bottom-table side

The draw means that Arsenal is currently five points above Manchester City who have two games in hand ahead of their crucial match at the Etihad on Wednesday.

“Look at Zinchenko for Southampton’s third goal,” Dixon told Premier League Productions. “He’s got his man, he’s looking at his man, he’s got his arm in the air and then he just goes to sleep.

“He’s not a brilliant defender. He’s brilliantly on the ball and Arsenal uses him to test their strengths with the ball.”
