EPL: Arsenal not expected to win against Man City – Gary Neville

Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville has said Arsenal is “not expected to win” at Manchester City next Wednesday.

The Gunners saw their titles hope, take a hit following a 3-3 draw with Southampton on Friday night.

The league leaders went two goals down to the Saints, thanks to goals from Carlos Alcaraz and Theo Walcott.

But Gabriel Martinelli pulled one back for Arteta’s men.

The result leaves the league leaders five points ahead of Manchester City, who they face at the Etihad next Wednesday.

“It’s the one game in the run-in that Arsenal is not expected to win,” Neville said on Sky Sports at the Emirates Stadium.

“So, can they condition their minds away from games where they are facing the bottom of the league in Southampton or West Ham, who are near the relegation zone

“This is the one game they have left where everyone will think Man City are favourites.”
