Ambitious move – France’s ex-coach tells Zidane club to join

Former France coach, Raymond Domenech, has urged former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, to join Paris Saint-Germain instead of Juventus.

Reports have recently emerged that Zidane, who has been linked with PSG in the past few weeks, is to be appointed as Juventus manager ahead of next season.

The Serie A giants are said to have already held talks with Zidane, a former Juventus player, and barring financial issues, a move seems likely.

The Bianconeri are seemingly set to sack Max Allegri and appoint Zidane.

However, Domenech wants Zidane to join PSG ahead of Juventus, insisting that it would be a ‘more ambitious’ move.

“PSG would be more ambitious than Juventus because there are more things to do. At Juve, he arrives and knows how it works, he [Zidane] knows he would have no worries,” Domenech was quoted by Sportskeeda as saying.

He added: “He will finish among the top 3 in Italy and will play in the European Cup.

“But in Paris, there is everything to do. Take control, build something and above all, all succeed. Everyone who has gone through this club has failed, so succeeding at PSG is an ambitious project.”
