UCL: I won’t sleep – Thierry Henry tells Harry Kane to leave Tottenham

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has told Harry Kane to leave Tottenham this summer.

Kane has played 13 seasons at Tottenham without a single trophy to show for it and the only chance of winning anything this season disappeared into the tin air after the club’s deflating Champions League exit.

AC Milan defeated Tottenham 1-0 on aggregate to send them crashing out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage.

And the latest poor result will spark fresh speculation over the England captain’s future at the Tottenham Stadium as he is heavily linked with the likes of Manchester United.

And Henry, a Premier League legend believes the 29-year-old should be looking for a new club, adding that the player is too good to finish his career without any trophy.

“If I were him I would go,” Henry told CBS Sports.

He added: “It’s up to him to choose where but I would go, he has to know where he wants to go.

“A player like that, a player of his calibre, should not talk about just his goals at the end of his career. If I were him, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if all I could talk about is my goals.”
