You’ll score goals – Arsenal legend tells Chelsea’s Aubameyang club to join

Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour wants Chelsea’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join a club in the Major League Soccer, MLS, rather than waiting for a Premier League club offer in the summer.

Parlour said Aubameyang would score goals all day long should he join a club in MLS.

Aubameyang, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona, has fallen out of favour with manager, Graham Potter.

The Gabonese star was recently omitted from Chelsea’s Champions League knock-out stage squad.

The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to MLS club, Los Angeles FC in recent days.

“It is remarkable what’s happened, it looks like he [Aubameyang] has got no confidence whatsoever,” Parlour told talkSPORT.

“[MLS] would probably suit him – a little bit of razzmatazz, all the American fans will like something different and certainly, he can score goals in MLS all day long.

“Chelsea, it has not worked out. Graham Potter probably knows he is not part of the club’s future. With the signings they have bought in as well, he is not going to get a game, so I can certainly see that deal going through.

“It is all down to Aubameyang, if he doesn’t want to go and is happy where he is, he won’t go, he just has to get on with it until the end of the season.”

He added, “He is not going to get anywhere else in the Premier League. With his wages, what club would take him? Would someone gamble?”
