Man Utd boss Ten Hag explains swapping Wan-Bissaka for Dalot

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has explained the absence of Aaron Wan-Bissaka against Leeds United on Wednesday.

The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw with their local rivals at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Wan-Bissaka missed the game, with Diogo Dalot starting at right back instead.

Ten Hag told MUTV of Dalot's inclusion pre-game: "He [Dalot] played matches [after the World Cup], but then he relapsed. Now he is ready. He trained well. He was involved in group training the last few days. I think he's ready to start."

He also added that Wan-Bissaka was feeling unwell and missed the game as a result.

United fans will be revealed to know the right back did not suffer an injury.
