Chelsea are discussing the prospect of offloading Mason Mount to Atletico Madrid.
The Blues are extremely enamored with on loan attacker Joao Felix, who is at the club from Atleti.
However, there is no buy option in the loan deal, which means they must discuss terms with the Spanish giants.
According to Spanish journalist David G. Medina, Chelsea want to send Mount to Madrid to lower the financial aspect of the deal.
The club do want to sign Felix, but have other targets, and have already spent a lot of money since the takeover from Todd Boehly.
A cash deal is what Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil Martin is said to prefer.
