Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has predicted the scoreline of the Premier League encounter between the Red Devils and Arsenal on Sunday.
Ferdinand believes his old club will put a dent in the Gunners’ title hopes this weekend.
United travels to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and would seek to further reduce the gap between the league leaders and the rest of the teams within the Premier League top four.
Erik ten had guided his team to nine wins in a row before Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Making his prediction on the scoreline, Ferdinand said the Premier League clash would end 1- 0 in favour of Eric ten Hag’s side.
“I think Manchester United will go there and win 1-0. That’s what I think,” the former England star told Vibe.
“United are playing with confidence. They’re very assured right now.
“The way they handled Man City – and City are a better footballing team than Arsenal at this moment in time – was really good.”
