Tottenham boss Conte: Kane must not dwell on World Cup disappointment

Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte has backed Harry Kane to put aside his World Cup agony.

Kane missed a crucial penalty in a quarter final against France, which England went on to lose 2-1.

The 2018 champions made it all the way to the final, eventually losing to Argentina on penalties.

“Hugo [Lloris] lost the final and, instead, Cuti [Cristian Romero] won the final," said the Spurs boss about his World Cup stars.

“For Harry, he missed a penalty, but I think he played a really good World Cup.

"For sure, they have to try and put to one side this experience."
