Qatar 2022: Mikael Silvestre names England best, most dangerous player

Former Arsenal star, Mikael Silvestre has named Bukayo Saka as England’s most dangerous player at the World Cup in Qatar.

He also believes the Arsenal winger can be one of the best players in world football, but added that the 21-year-old must become ‘more aggressive’ because at the moment he is ‘too nice’.

Saka was one of the Three Lions’ shining lights in Qatar, putting up the most impressive performance at the World Cup.

The youngster was Man of the Match in the quarter final defeat to champions France on Saturday.

He netted three times in the course of England’s four matches in Qatar and he was targeted by the French defenders throughout the defeat in Doha.

And Silvestre believes the 21-year-old has all the ability to become the best in the world but must become more ‘aggressive’ to take his game to the next level.

“Maybe Bukayo Saka is a bit too nice. He needs to be a bit more aggressive,” Silvestre told BettingExpert.

“He has done really well for Arsenal and he is still a very young player.

“For England [their best player was] Saka for being so dangerous, taking on players, causing issues. He got the penalty.

“He was for me, the number one player, in terms of performance, for England.”
