Former Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is planning on making Istanbul his permanent home.
The Russian had to leave the UK after selling the West London club due to sanctions imposed on him by the UK government for his ties to Russia president Vladimir Putin.
Abramovich is now happy in Turkey, where no such sanctions are in place on Russians.
Abramovich has moved four of his yachts, worth an estimated $1.2 billion, to Istanbul.
Per Marca and other sources, Abramovich is even considering buying a Turkish football team in the coming years.
