Brighton ponder loan recalls for Connolly and Alzate

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi is running the rule over players who are out on loan at present.

The Italian took over from Graham Potter early in the season, but after the transfer window had closed for the summer

Per reports in Italy, Venezia could be looking to send back forward Aaron Connolly.

Another who could be coming back to Brighton is Steven Alzate, with Standard Liege stating that Brighton want him back in January.

Standard Liege director of football Fergal Harkin stated to Sud Info: “Brighton have come back for Steven Alzate because they are counting on him, but we are confident that he will stay at Standard, where he is very happy."

The Albion's chief executive Paul Barber told the club website: “We are just in the process of working through all those different options at the moment

“In some cases there are options to bring players back.

“In other cases there aren't.

“That is something that Roberto and David Weir and Gordon Greer will talk about over the next few weeks."
