Aston Villa have made a request to sign Juventus teenage star Fabio Miretti this winter.
The Italian club are interested in securing Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez in January.
According to Italian outlet CMW, if Villa are to do such a deal, they want to sign the 19-year-old midfielder in return.
Miretti is very highly rated by scouts around Europe, and Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri is a fan as well.
Miretti, spoken of as a real talent, does want regular first team football, which may be easier at Villa.
If Villa are to lose Martinez, they want the deal to strengthen them in another area.
