Arsenal are ready to activate a contract extension for 19-year-old starlet Charlie Patino.
The Gunners are aware that several teams are following the teenager, including Barcelona.
Patino is presently on loan at Championship side Blackpool as he builds up first team experience.
Now the Daily Mail indicates that he will be extended for another two years, as part of the terms of the contract he signed in 2020.
However, Arsenal will be hoping to eventually agree terms with Patino on a new, long-term contract to reflect his rise within the club.
Patino made his first-team debut for the club in the Carabao Cup against Sunderland last year.
