The brother of Juventus whizkid Nicolo Fagioli has revealed he rejected a move to Manchester United as a youth teamer.
This season, Fagioli has exploded for Juve, scoring two goals in nine competitive matches, four of which were from the start. Fagioli also made his debut for Italy this week n their friendly win against Albania.
Now his brother Alessandro has revealed Nicolo could've been playing in England this season.
"Nicolò is a mother's boy, he has never liked distance. When he was in Cremonese's youth system, he said no to Manchester United, he didn't feel ready to leave Italy," he told Tuttosport.
"And for Juve, he preferred to turn down interest from Inter, with whom he had a trial, Milan and Atalanta. Nicolò's Bianconeri faith triumphed over everything."
