Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit says Cristiano Ronaldo is letting himself down with his behaviour at Manchester United.
Ronaldo has been dropped and banished from senior training after leaving victory over Tottenham before the final whistle while being an unused sub.
Petit told RMC: "He is a legend of sport, he will have left his mark on it in an intergenerational way, yes.
"But this end of career does not honour him. When I see the chronology of certain events since his return to Manchester United, certain of his behaviors, it is not possible.
“He tires everyone: the supporters, his teammates.
"They don't want him anymore in the locker room because it pollutes everyone. He has an exceptional career, when he stops we will all agree, but his behavior is so individualistic! His message yesterday on social media... You know you don't like what's going on with your club, you can't stand your coach Ten Hag anymore, you feel like you're being disrespected compared to what you did, but your status no longer exists!
"You are no longer the same player, you have been demoted, you have suffered a downgrade but you do not accept it because your ego is so oversized... Say it really!"
