EPL: I’m sorry for you – Dwight Yorke tells Man United star, warns Ten Hag

Former Manchester United striker, Dwight Yorke has warned the club’s boss, Erik ten Hag against playing Marcus Rashford in the wings.

He said the 24-year-old should be used only as a striker in order to allow him build his confidence.

Rashford has netted just three goals in eleven Premier League appearances for Erik ten Hag’s this term.

The England international has been mainly deployed by Ten Hag as a striker but the Englishman is sometimes also used as a left winger.

Yorke told Lord Ping that Rashford needs to be playing consistently as a striker.

“The No.9 is a specialist role. I feel sorry for Rashford because he’s played on the right, on the left and through the middle.

“You don’t master that position unless you’re playing there every week. A striker develops his senses and movements through playing the role,” he said.
