Barcelona are interested in Vasco da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos.
Sport says Barca sports chief Jordi Cruyff has Santos, who is also a target for Newcastle United, high on the agenda.
Santos' contract carries a €40m buyout clause.
The 18 year-old is expected to leave Santos in 2023, with Barca making a serious pitch through South American scout Andre Cury.
Santos' deal with Vasco runs to 2027.
