Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would not be drawn on Xavi Simons.
The youngster put in an assured display as PSV Eindhoven bettered the Gunners 2-0 at home in the Europa League group stages.
While they are still top of their group, Arsenal now must win their final game to guarantee top spot and qualification for the last 16.
Asked about Simons post-game, Arteta told reporters: “I'm not here to talk about players from the opposition."
He added about Dutch football in general: “I've always been a big admirer.
“You have to look in football history at the players and teams that have been examples for generations and the way they play, Johan Cruyff is one of my idols and had a big influence on the way I think about the game."
