Liverpool may have found a way to convince Aston Villa to sell Douglas Luiz.
The Brazilian was almost signed by Arsenal on deadline day, but the Gunners were unable to agree a fee with Villa.
According to the Express, Liverpool will dangle a player-swap in front of Aston Villa to convince them to sell.
The source states that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is the man who could be heading to Villa in exchange for Luiz.
Such a transfer would give Villa an immediate replacement of a similar ability.
While they would prefer cash for Luiz, his contract does expire at the end of the season.
