Chelsea boost as Rafael Leao and AC Milan stall in contract talks

Chelsea are boosted in their pursuit of AC Milan forward Rafael Leao.

The Stamford Bridge club are very eager to bring the exciting winger to the Premier League.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Leao is unable to agree a new contract with AC Milan at present.

Not only does Leao want £6 million a year as part of his new deal, he has an additional demand of Milan.

The forward wants Milan to pay him £14 million, as that is the sum he has been ordered to pay ex-club Sporting CP by the Portuguese Super Court for breaching his contract four years ago.

However, Milan informed them it would take Leao's buy-out clause of €150 million to secure him.
