Transfer: Real Madrid’s third summer signing close to arriving Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid is reportedly set to welcome its third signing of the ongoing summer transfer window in the form of Forward, Iker Bravo from Bayer Leverkusen.

This claim was made by respected Relevo journalist, Sergio Santos, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Friday.

Santos reported that Bravo would undergo his medical after the two clubs reached a full agreement for his transfer.

However, it will take a few days before Real Madrid makes Bravo’s move official, as there is a process that is due to go through FIFA.

“Real Madrid has closed the signing of Iker Bravo, but there is still a process with FIFA that will take a few days,” Santos tweeted on Friday.

“Total agreement between clubs for a transfer with purchase option. Today he undergoes a medical examination.”

Bravo is joining the Los Blancos on a season-long loan, but the contract contains an option to make the move permanent.

The Spanish youngster will predominantly play with the Castilla side of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez will coach him at the club and oversee his development.

Bravo might, however, get the opportunity to train with Real Madrid’s first team occasionally due to Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz being the only traditional No. 9s available to manager Carlo Ancelotti this season.
