Manchester City striker Liam Delap has agreed to join Stoke City on a season-long loan and will have a medical at the Championship club on Wednesday afternoon.
Delap follows in the footsteps of his father - Rory - who was a fan favourite at Stoke for seven years when they were in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old made his Premier League and Champions League debuts for Manchester City in February.
Delap is due to have a medical at the club this afternoon, which means he won't be involved for Stoke's Championship clash with Middlesbrough this evening.
