Rangers stun PSV to reach Champions League group stage

Rangers are into the Champions League group stages for the first time in more than a decade.

The Scottish giants, who were in the Europa League final last season, beat PSV Eindhoven in the play-off second leg to progress.

The two teams were locked at 2-2 after the first-leg in Glasgow, with Rangers getting an invaluable 1-0 win in Holland on Wednesday.

Antonio Colak scored the only goal of the game, after Malik Tillman had intercepted a pass from the PSV defenders to give his teammate an easy finish.

The Philips Stadion was stunned by the goal, and PSV were unable to show enough quality to get back in the game.

Rangers will earn a minimum £25 minimum windfall from the result.
