Lewis Cook pens Bournemouth extension

Bournemouth have secured Lewis Cook to a new contract.

The veteran, who has been with the club since 2016 when he signed from Leeds United, is an important player for manager Scott Parker.

Cook now has a deal that will take him until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

The 25-year-old has committed the best years of his career to the club.

Neill Blake, AFC Bournemouth Chief Executive, told the club's website: "We're very pleased to get another contract extension with a key player over the line.

"Lewis' talent and work ethic are there for all to see and this is a massive boost for the club just before the start of the new season.

"He has played a huge role in our successes to date and is a key part of our future plans, so it's fantastic that he has committed his future to the club."
