Leicester reject Chelsea opening offer for Fofana; reiterate 'not for sale' stance

Leicester have rejected Chelsea's opening offer for Wesley Fofana.

Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers admitted this week that the club would have to 'balance the books' this summer.

Fofana, Maddison and Youri Tielemans have all been linked with moves away from the club.

French newspaper L'Equipe has reported that Chelsea submitted an offer of €75m (£62.8m) on Wednesday.

This was rejected immediately by Leicester, who have said that the 21-year-old is 'not for sale'.

The Premier League club have not encouraged their rivals to return with a higher offer.

However, that doesn't mean that Chelsea will not do so in the coming weeks.
