DONE DEAL: Charles de Ketelaere 'overwhelmed' after signing with AC Milan

Charles de Ketelaere has completed his move to AC Milan.

The attacker leaves Club Brugge for Milan in a transfer worth €32m plus €3m in bonuses and a 12.5 per cent cut of any future sale.

De Ketelaare has signed a five-year contract.

He said, “I am a guy who is mostly really calm, but I was a little bit overwhelmed, just didn't know how to react.

“They say you cannot imagine until you are here and you feel the real warmth and passion of the fans and the club. It's different than if you just speak with them."

De Ketelaere also explained his decision to leave Club Brugge: “Of course I am very happy with this next step. As a young player you have the ambition to be able to play at the top abroad as well.

“I want to thank everyone at Club for all the opportunities I got there and it will be always be my home."
