Bruno Fernandes will wear the number 8 shirt at Manchester United vacated by Juan Mata.
The Portugal international switches from no.18 ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
He will also wear the number 8 during United's preseason tour.
Bruno wears the number for Portugal, and previously wore it at Udinese and Sporting CP.
