Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi is set to reject Nottingham Forest.
The newly promoted Premier League club were hoping to secure the ex-Liverpool forward.
Awoniyi has a £17.2 million release clause in his contract, which would have made him very affordable for Forest.
However, Football Insider states that he is not interested in Forest, as there are other teams vying for his signature.
Awoniyi managed 15 goals in the Bundesliga last term, as Union Berlin finished fifth.
The 24-year-old has also played on loan for clubs in Germany, Belgium, and Holland.
