Man Utd turn to Rangers keeper Rory McCrorie

Manchester United are eyeing Rangers goalkeeper Rory McCrorie.

United see the young keeper as a replacement for Dean Henderson, who is in talks with Nottingham Forest.

The Sun says McCrorie is also on the club's shortlist. The 24-year-old only played twice for Rangers last season and is about to enter the final year of his contract with the Scottish side.

Jon McLaughlin is set to take over from Allan McGregor next season at Ibrox, leaving McCrorie stuck on the bench.

He is therefore tempted by a move to Old Trafford, where he could learn from De Gea and the experienced Heaton, who himself has attracted interest from Middlesbrough. Despite his lack of game time at Rangers, McCrorie earned a Scotland call-up earlier this month and is highly regarded.
