Leeds, Brentford eyeing RB Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen

Leeds United are eyeing RB Salzburg defender Rasmus Kristensen.

The Daily Mail says the Dane has emerged as a serious target for Leeds as they look to strengthen their squad.

They have Stuart Dallas out for the rest of the year and face fierce competition on another transfer option, Aberdeen's Calvin Ramsay, who is wanted by Liverpool among others.

Kristensen is well known to Jesse Marsch, his former coach, but was expected to join Dortmund for around £10million before Brentford and then Leeds expressed interest.

The 24-year old is a strong, marauding, high energy full-back who can also play in midfield. He is over 6ft tall and scored seven goals last season.
