Fulham and Wolves battling for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Palhinha

Fulham are racing ahead with their summer transfer business after agreeing a £15 million fee for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Palhinha.

The defensive midfielder is wanted by several top European clubs this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the newly promoted Premier League side are close to securing his signature.

However, Palhinha also has interest in him from Wolves, who already have several Portuguese players on their books.

Palhinha is seen at Wolves as a Ruben Neves replacement, as the latter is being linked to Manchester United, Arsenal, and Barcelona.

Now it will be up to Palhinha to decide where he wants to play next season and beyond.
