Port Vale hero Ryan Edmondson set to leave Leeds

Ryan Edmondson is set to leave Leeds United.

The 21-year-old helped Darrell Clarke's Port Vale to promotion to League One on Saturday afternoon, spending the last 12 months on a season long loan.

Scoring five times in 38 appearances, the former York City man took to social media following the Valiants Wembley win, describing it as one of his 'favourite career moments'.

With his Leeds contract set to expire in May of this year, it seems likely that the forward will now depart Elland Road this summer and seek pastures new.
