Incoming Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag wants to sign Tyrell Malacia for the Premier League side, the UK Mirror reports.
Malacia, who plays for Feyenoord, has been described as a “pitbull” by fans in Holland.
Ten Hag failed to sign the 22-year-old left-back for Ajax last summer.
The Dutchman was unable to sign Malacia due to the huge rivalry with Feyenoord.
But a £20million offer will tempt Feyenoord into selling to United, after Ten Hag has identified the full-back positions as a problem area at his new club.
Malacia will challenge Luke Shaw for his place in United’s team. Ten Hag also wants a new right-back to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
