EPL: Adrian Silva reveals when Cristiano Ronaldo could retire from football

Former Portugal international, Adrian Silva, has said that Cristiano Ronaldo would remain on the football scene for more than four or five years.

Ronaldo, currently at Manchester United and the club’s highest goal scorer this season – 22, has continued to operate at the very top level despite turning 37 years this year.

There have been questions over how long the former Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Juventus superstar could continue on the top level.

But his former national teammate, Adrien Silva believes that Ronaldo could potentially be on the field of active football until potentially 2027.

Speaking in an interview with Goal, Silva said: “Even if he starts playing less games, he’ll still be scoring.

“So, I think he could still end up playing for another four or five years at the top, which is crazy.”
