EPL: Ex-Man United star predicts winner of Tottenham vs Arsenal

 

Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov has backed Tottenham Hotspur to beat Arsenal in the huge north London derby in the Premier League on Thursday.

With a win, Tottenham will reduce the gap to just one point behind Arsenal in the top four chase, but with a loss, they could be out of the battle.

Arsenal are 4 points ahead of their north London rivals going into the game and Berbatov, a former Tottenham player, said although the game will be a tight one, his former club will win it.

“I was really happy with Spurs’ performance in the 1-1 against Liverpool and I think they’re going to beat Arsenal in the north London derby on Thursday,” Berbatov told Betfair.

“Against Arsenal it’s going to be a good game, as it usually is in the derby.

“Everybody wants to play Champions League football, Spurs have the chance and if they play like the way they have been doing, then they deserve to be in the top four. They have to beat Arsenal,” he added.
