AC Milan legend, Clarence Seedorf, has said that former Nigerian internationals, Kanu Nwankwo and Finidi George, used to always visit him at his house to eat African food.
Speaking at the Heineken Champions League Trophy Tour in Lagos, Seedorf said: ”Kanu and Finidi were always coming to my house in Amsterdam to eat African dishes.
“Kanu would say ‘give me rice’.
“They would eat well because we take the same type of food, there is no difference.”
Seedorf was teammates with Kanu and George during their time at Ajax.
The trio won the UEFA Champions League title in 1995.
