Barcelona right-back, Dani Alves has picked Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland as the better player the Catalan club should sign in the summer.
Mbappe and Haaland have been linked with moves to Barcelona this summer.
Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire at the end of the season, while Haaland’s €75 million release clause at Dortmund comes into effect.
And Alves would rather see Mbappe join Barcelona than Haaland, insisting that the France international is a complete player and is the best for Barca’s style of play
I wouldn’t throw a lot of money at Haaland. Honestly, I wouldn’t spend a lot of money on him. Mbappe yes, but not Haaland,” The Brazilian told Marca (via Football-Espana).
He added, “If I was a sporting director, I’d bet on Mbappe first, he is more complete in all aspects.
“If you are going to make a huge investment, you do it for the best. Mbappe Is the best there is, and the best for Barca’s style. Right now, there’s no one better than him.”
