Jordan advises Manchester United to appoint former manager as Rangnick’s replacement

talkSPORT host, Simon Jordan, has advised Manchester United to bring back their former manager, David Moyes, as Ralf Rangnick’s replacement.

Manchester United are currently in the process of looking for the best manager that will succeed Rangnick at the end of the season.

The Red Devils had appointed Rangnick on an interim basis for the remainder of the season.

But Jordan believes Man United should hire back Moyes to take over from Rangnick.

Recall that when Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, Moyes was the man chosen to replace him.

Jordan said: “The bottom line is, David Moyes was undoubtedly harshly treated by the standards that have been deployed to other people, whether it’s [Jose] Mourinho, Louis van Gaal or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

“But everybody with half a brain in football knew that was a poisoned chalice. Everybody knew that the next cab off the rank, it was just an impossible situation.”

“So that means this would be the perfect time for David Moyes to potentially go back to Manchester United,” Jordan added
