It doesn’t matter who runs away in the rain – Inter Milan fans reject Lukaku

Inter Milan fans have rejected Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku, asking him to remain where he is.

The Belgian had apologized to Inter Milan fans over the manner he left the club in the summer for Chelsea

However, his apology seems to have hit the rock as Inter ultras said they would not want to see him back at San Siro.

The Belgium international made some explosive comments in an interview with Sky Italia three weeks ago.

In the interview aired on Thursday, the former Manchester United star said he was unhappy at Chelsea and that he would want to return to Inter Milan soon.

He said the Blues were fourth choice when he left Inter.

The former Everton star also spoke highly of his time in Milan, praising the club, fans and Italy as a whole.

However, a banner has since appeared outside the San Siro which rather poetically read: “It doesn’t matter who runs away in the rain, it matters who stays in the storm. Bye Romelu.”
