Pick yourself up, there’s problem – Hoddle slams Tuchel after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Everton

Chelsea and Tottenham legend, Glenn Hoddle, has told Thomas Tuchel to pick himself up immediately, claiming that the ‘seething’ German appeared at his ‘lowest’ since taking charge at Stamford Bridge in his post-match interview.

Chelsea boss, Tuchel had slammed his players for wasting several opportunities during their Premier League clash against depleted Everton side on Thursday.

The Blues dropped crucial points in the league title race with a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Everton.

Mason Mount put the home side ahead in the 70th minute but Everton responded almost immediately through Jarrad Branthwaite.

“Those games have been very difficult for them in recent weeks and Wolves will be difficult,” Hoddle told BT Sport.

“That’s the lowest I’ve seen Tuchel post-game, he is seething inside.

“He’s had to go out and say what he’s had to say, but you can tell he hadn’t picked himself up for that interview and they’ve got to pick themselves up very quickly.

“He knows that there is a concern there.

“If they had won today he would have said, ‘We have had a few blips, we’ve got to go again’, but he knows there’s a real concern there at this moment in time.”
