Barcelona youngster Gavi is hoping to negotiate a new contract with the club.
The 17-year-old is already being linked to teams around Europe, with Chelsea stated to have a serious interest in the midfielder.
However, Sport states that Gavi wants to stay with the club where he has come through the youth ranks
He is hopeful of using Chelsea's interest as leverage to negotiate a new contract with Barca.
Gavi has 18 months remaining on his present deal, which does not financially reflect his new status as a first team player.
