Despite your money, you’ve won nothing – Hoeness mocks Man City, PSG

Former Bayern Munich president, Uli Hoeness has hit out at Premier League champions Manchester City and Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain.

Hoeness said that despite their display of money in every transfer season, the two clubs have been unable to win a single Champions League trophy.

He expressed his joy at Bayern Munich’s victory over PSG in the Champions League final in 2020.

He explained the win over PSG despite their star-studded squad means that the Ligue 1 side and Man City’s ‘sh**ty money is not enough.’

“So far these two clubs [PSG and Manchester City] have not won anything,” Hoeness said on the 11 Leben podcast.

“Nothing at all. They will lose to us again. Not always, but from time to time. That should be our goal. And when we beat them, that makes me very happy. Show them: ‘Your sh**ty money is not enough.’”

The German stepped down as the President of Bayern Munich in 2019 having held positions at the club for 49 years.
