Solskjaer names ‘man of the match’ after Man Utd’s 3-0 win over Tottenham

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has named Scott McTominay as his man of the match following his side’s Premier League 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Man United defeated Tottenham, thanks to three goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford.

When asked about McTominay’s display against Tottenham after the match, Solskjaer said at his post-match press conference: “Man of the match for me, by a mile.

“That is the Scott we have seen a few times before. He’s had his injury, he’s had his operation this season, but today I thought he was absolutely brilliant.

“Won his tackles, drove forward, kept the ball simple, switched play, headed away a few set-plays, so absolutely top.”

The win over Tottenham means Man United are now in the 5th position on the Premier League table with 17 points from 10 games.

Man United’s next match is against Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday.
