Paris Saint-Germain have put at least five players up for sale in a bid to raise funds following the signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.
According to French outlet, Le Parisien, the five players PSG wants to sell this summer are Julian Draxler, Pablo Sarabia, Rafinha Alcantara, Layvin Kurzawa and Thilo Kehrer.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side wants to trim their squad after spending a lot of money to sign five new players, including Messi, this summer.
Messi joined former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum and Inter wing-back Achraf Hakimi in moving to PSG this summer.
The Argentine captain left Barcelona for PSG this summer after he was unable to sign a new contract at Camp Nou due to LaLiga’s regulations.
Meanwhile, PSG won their first two Ligue 1 games of the new campaign against Troyes and Strasbourg, respectively.
The Parisians currently sit in the third position on the Ligue 1 table with six points from two games.
